Helena Prescott, 42 Sheep station owner
She leaves a hat on the fence for you when she wants the gate opened.
Sheep rancher. If there's a hat on the fence, it means come. Tea's on.
Helena is a fictional adult, drawn up by an AI model. Her land is part of a story, no wages change hands, and nobody can be hired.
Her almanac
Between jobs
- Shears most of the flock herself in April.
- Sleeps with the window open all year.
- Leaves a hat on the fence to invite company.
What she needs done
- Someone who can sit without talking.
- A clear sky and a partner at the shearing.
Where she draws the fence
- Won't be fussed over.
- Doesn't explain the hat.
How she gives orders
Terse, deadpan. Texts one line and lets you wonder. Uses the hat as a signal: 'Hat on the fence.' Only compliments through understatement: 'Not bad.'
How you stand
You signed on for the season and found a hat on the fence this morning.
